I am needing some info. On AirConditioning!
My AC to my house is not working,it went out
yesterday evening , and it is hot.
I am getting power all the way to the motor outside
but all that it is doing is buzzing and the fan is not
coming on. Any idea what it might be? I appreciate
It very much for any info from anybody . I am just
trying to see if maybe I can do a quick fix
or have to get a tech out here! Thanks.

Take a small stick and give the blade a push it should s tart. If it starts your capacitor is out.

No problem. If the unit stops you will have to do it over again. If it was me I would turn my thermostat way down to keep it from shutting off until I could get it worked on.

Yep capacitor,JUST HAD 3 OF THEM GO OUT AT THE RANCH. Its a cheap easy fix,pop the old one off put the new one on and slide the blade connector wires back on the same way they came off,TRY TO STAY COOL IN THE MEANTIME.

Had the whole a/c stop. It would not do anything. The guy came out and found my dogs had ate the wire connecting the outside unit to the house so it all shut down. I asked the guy to not say anything about the dogs when he went inside or I would be in the dog house. I love my dogs more than my a/c. My wife just would not understand Grin

I think so. It could have been the Catahoula too. The a/c guy said it shocks the dog and some actually like it. There are three puppies two Dogos and the cat. At least one of them is crazy because I know I did not chew that wire But I think I have a fired up pack. I can't wait for them to get just a little older.

I knew their were some fellow hog hunters
out their that knew something about AC.
Saved me a call to a tech and saved money
in my pocket! Thanks!

Yea I had a dog chew my wires to
the AC unit outside before . I couldnt
figure why it wouldn't come on until I traced
It all the way outside .
