Went out yesterday about 4 miles from my house right at dark and dumped 6 bay dogs out in front of the truck. We had never hunted this particular place but we had caught plenty of hogs about 600 yards down the river. We found a good brush line and followed about 100 yards down before all the dogs started acting real piggy. My Molly dog and Josh's pup Rambler were gone and Brutis and Red were trying to work a track farther down the brush line. After Brutis and Red were in for about 2 minutes every dog that was still there perked up and ran in. We killed the truck and about a minute later one of the dogs ( not sure which one ) opened up. We could tell the pig broke and they bayed him up again twice before they got him to stop and that was a caught hog. We sent the CDs in just for back up and got there and stabbed this boar about 170 lbs with only one cut dog. I got the bay on video and you can see after we stab the pig he gets a hold of Josh's boot in his mouth! lol
After we left that place we went out of town to one of my Grandpas places and dumped the dogs on a road that ran along a grain field. As soon as they hit the ground they were off and out of sight. About 5 minutes later we heard Josh's Mtn. Cur Tanner open up and then we had a solid bay. We got the CDs and headed across a coastal field to a real deep tank. We sent the CDs in from about 15 yards out and then hauled butt to grab the pig before he could get any deeper. Got him stabbed with only one dog cut suprisingly. Looks to be the same boar that broke bay on us about 3 times last time we hunted there. He was probably a little over 250 with about 3 inches of teeth on one side. Over all great hunt with only 2 cut dogs.
