How good is yalls dogs sense of direction if you hunted and lost one will it make it back home or come to where you dumped out at

most will go back where ya droped them out at. i have had a few show up at home a few weeks later looking rough but not to many . that was before i had tracking system now no lost dogs

Never have owned a tracker I use my brothers collar On only one of mine the other dog will cover some country to get home never goes to where you dumped out

Mine have found their way home many times if we were hunting close to the house. If we were somewhere far from home they would either go to where they were put out or to the truck. Now with the garmin I don't have to wait for them to come back I just go pick them up

Mine follow their backtrack to where they started the hunt. Makes it handy about finding 'em too.
