http://youtu.be/EKJ8pPNfacUThis past weekend I had a chance to visit with a nephew that lives in Germany. After leaving I sure was glad and grateful I am from from the USA.... Years back when he was in the army in Germany he ran over a tree by accident with some type of army tank and he had to pay 2600 dollars for the tree and it's offspring. He says to get a fishing license it cost over 2500 dollars and all kinds of classes about fish/fishing and how to kill the fish with the least amount of pain. The country is so old that there is no room for growth...so usually it involves tearing down and rebuilding. He is 1/2 owner of a company so he makes good money. He ordered a dodge 2500 and it cost im about 150,000 dollars to have it shipped from the USA to Germany...Of course he has all be bells and whistles on it. He says there is no space to wash your vehicle so he has it detailed every other week at a detail shop.He pays about 8000 dollars a year to to drive that truck. The fees are taxes and insurance. His insurance is super high because it is based on size and horsepower. Everyone wants a cut of your money over there is what he was saying... I'M JUST GLAD I AM BORN AND BRED IN THE GOOD OLE USA!!!!!

Yeah butthe cost of living over there will equalize what you make over here...maybe not for that particular job but it evens out give or take 15,000-20,000 but who wants to give up the USA for that lil chunk of change. Plus they aint got the hogs like we got

It is some pretty country over there, and some good food. And they DO got the real deal European wild boars. Nice place to visit but wouldn't want to live there.

maybe our folks ought to bitch a little more to make sure that kinda crap don't happen here . if they wasn't something fundamentally wrong , with that over there 200 plus years ago a bunch of 'em wouldn't have braved the rough seas and the unknown to land here to be indentured servants for several years ( usually 7 ) . and then moved on , fighting all comers , be it indians, pestilence , outlaws or what ever . and they set up and built the greatest civilization in the history of the world !!! ...... some of you know what i'm saying ... others will never GITTIT .
