A few weeks ago I got a pup that was in poor shape. I've been giving her eggs with her normal food and she seems to be filling out.
Does anyone know of any problems or health issues caused by feeding eggs ?

raw eggs will help them slick off , full of protein and other good stuff . its pretty hard to hurt a dog , unless you feed something thats not natural , with chemicals in it ..

Raw eggs can give people salmonella. But not common today. A dog has a shorter digestive track so it is even harder for them to get it. Eggs are full of protien and good junk. Years ago I came across what was in them and it has just about every good thing packed in there. If I had a dog that needed weight I would give it to them for sure. Plus they are good after a lot of running.

Never tried eggs, but we had a stud horse that got real sick on use this spring and we experimented using vegatable oil over his feed and it seemed to work real good. I know its not a protein supplement like eggs but that sucker got fat and sassy in a hurry while being easy on the wallet as well.
