Hypothetically if you had a dog that would find hogs but not bark would the hogs run?  I am kinda seeing it like bird hunting the dog points and bird does not flush till dog, person or NOISE pushes it to flush.

i got some dogs that will not bark and still the hog takes them on a race some times

And let me say not talking about catch dogs but a dog that works a hog just no bark or even loose 20 feet back type of dog.

I know of a dog who got cut in the throat, and lost his bark, they run a garmin on him, and he's good as always

I'd think it would depend on too many uncontrollable things . Like the hog ,hunting conditions, type of dog, hunting pressure,etc. Also you must assume that there is a gps collar to track, otherwise you'd never find the hog or the dogs. It's no fun to have a no bark dog and not be able to locate where it's at. I've seen it squirrel and coon hunting. Theoretically it might have a slight advantage but practically I don't think itwould work.

I saw one dog like that, a buddy of mine in south florida had it, we called him silent bob. Didn't bark a lick, just circled, never saw a difference in if they ran or not though.
