I usually spend a couple hours each evening on the back porch with chop sticks....  I am hell on the local skeeter population, using a tactic I learned from Mr Miaggi.

When I am really on my game I can run a set of chop sticks in each hand, and kill twice the skeeters. Grin

Go to any feed store today and ask them, wether its pyrethrum or demon WP or whatever just get so.ething and stick it in a spayer and go to town on your grass and shrubs. Also you can get some spray just for the dogs.

I have good luck with the above product. Halt Flea & Tick with citronella. It works for mosquitoes too. I get it at Tractor Supply

I use permethryn, I spray it around the porch on the screens, and around the pens. I decided not to spray it directly on the dogs after reading about it. Also I think I read about it being sprayed on your clothes, but I'm not sure you wanna spray it on your skin, or the dog. Could be wrong. Deet is in most of the but repellent I use on myself, but I know that is bad for your dogs

I bought cheap garlic capsules from the grocery store and it helps, sulfer all around them did to. It defiantly made a difference but my problem is not as severe as yours.

FYI taking those garlic pills before hunting or doing anything outside works great for humans! I learned this from some africans who would die from mosquito bites without it, gave it a try and worked better than off!

My wife is Mediterranian and we eat copious amounts of garlic and yet I am still the one that mosquitoes swarm to. I think its because I am diabetic and just sweet tasting.

Cutter yard spray is the best I Have found to repel mosquitoes in the yard As well as on the dogs...works from two weeks to a month but the bottle gives a longer dgate...covers 5000 sq ft... Can buy it at lowes etc for about ten bucks...
