I've got a 6 year old male  that I used to hunt with but work took me away from him . now after 3 years I'm trying to get him back into hog hunting or baying comps.  I just moved to la Porte tx and was wondering if there are any bay pens around here that allow some practice runs.  Not looking for any bad ass hogs but just something to see if he has any interest still.   If not he will make a great pet but not out to get him killed or cut real bad .     Somewhere around Houston if possible.     Thanks.  Jason

Maybe you will get lucky and somebody close will have something. There was a man around  Alvin that had a small pen, but I dont know if he still lets people come bay. Maybe some other board members will know. Good Luck!!!

Oh man I would appreciate that. It had been a few years since I've been hog hunting with dogs and last weekend I was visiting in Louisiana and I got the chance to go with some buddies on the marsh.  I forgot how fun it was.   Gave me the itch to get back into it and see if this ol yella dog still got it in him.

Since I just moved over here I don't really know anyone that hog hunts and trying to get to know a few people on this site that don't mind dragging someone along.    I love hearing those dogs bay solid !!
