I would like to congratulate Andrea Fappini for riding Lil Joe Cash to Open World Champion and Spook Off Sparks to Open Reserve World Champion. Two amazing horses and one awesome rider.

Lil Joe Cash

Spook Off Sparks

I would also like to congratulate Eduardo Salgado and Gunner Bou in their Top 10 placement. In my opinion they got screwed. That horse has the biggest heart I have ever seen.

Noah, after seeing Gunner, you would have really appreciated Gunne Boy. I don't think I have ever seen a horse try so hard on every maneuver. In addition to laying it all on the line on his first run, he tied another horse for 6th place, and they had to have a run off. The other horse's run had been at 8 that morning so he was pretty fresh, Gunner Boy had about 15-20 mins to recoup  before the run off, and still scored 2 points higher than his original run of 223 for a finish 225.5. Unfortunately the fresh horse got a 226. But in my book Gunner Boy took it hands down. You could see he was exhausted, but he still poured his whole heart into his run. Amazing horse.
