RCD/CD Vest pros and cons

What are the pros and cons of having: cut collar attached to vest, chin flap, and leg flaps? I guess I should probably say the cons b/c I think all of these things could help.

can't think of any cons for a walkin catchdog but probabley too constritive in movement for a runnin cd
