well, just wanted to say thanks to Chance and his buddy Robert for having me and my yankee buddy over for a little hog doggin yesterday.

everything didn't go quite as planned but we had a great time riding through some pretty rough stuff.   it was nice to get out and hunt some VERY different terrain than what i'm used to.

if anyone gets a chance to hunt with these guys you're in for a real treat.

we wound up catching a sow and a young boar. (i forgot my camera Embarrassed but i belive my buddy got some decent pics i'll get em to post up whenever he gets back to the land of obama).

the best thing about the whole trip was Chance's little boy.  i don't know too many 3 year olds that can be sittin in a donut shop at 6am and be asked if he's ready to go hunting and be all smiles.  He was a trooper all day.  Ya definitely got a keeper there buddy.  Sure made me excited about gettin to take my little ones out real soon.

once again thanks for all you guys did and i can't wait to see you guys again.

Yes jordan we had fun to glad your yankee friend had fun people when he says thing didn't go the way I had plan he means that my dogs are not rough unless I tell them to catch I use my dogs on cows and hogs and they caught both hogs before we got there and I do not tolerate that at all but it happen and no need to cry over split milk but we had fun caught 2 hogs. Yes my 3 year old loves to hunt but my 11 year old and 8 year old are hard to hang with in the woods and have been in on more hog catchs than most adults and boy they can ride the hair off a horse the 3 year old is going to be right be hind thim he is already riding a horse and learning to tie a hog the best education he can get out of life!

It is nice to hear of people coming together to enjoy this sport. A COUGHT HOG is what it is all about, but family and friends is the true prize.
