My good friend Tom G. is cutting down on his dogs he give me my choice and I ended up with four Lacy's in all from Tom. One male and three females all from his lines of dogs. Just got to say thanks to Tom for the dogs and many years of a lot of hunting together. Come this next year I will be breeding a few of these dogs one being my Bell dog that is a finished find dog and a hell of a hog dog and the others being Claire and Dee both of which will burn a hog up in a bay. These dogs are short to med hunters but with a lot of stick once on the hog they have enuff grit to stop them and hold them and then catch when the catch dog gets there. When my Bell dog gets a hog in her nose she is going to finish it with a hog at the end of the track. Anyway going to try and improve these dogs with some struck breed and culling program anybody that knows my dogs knows what am talking about. I cant keep them all I will try and keep one are two from each liter and go from there so I will have some for sale . Some of these dogs have made some great blood trail dogs I don't exactly know which ones I will have to get with Tom on that am a hog dogger not a blood trailer . Anyway anybody wanting a Lacy from proven hog dog Lacy's can let me know . Just thought I would put this out there and again thanks to my good friend TG.

We have a little lacy gyp that has struck alot of hogs for us and is bairly a year old. So needless to say if you have some pups id be interested in a couple for sure.

I sure will buddy I will let both yall know whats up soon as I can get some bred . I want to send them to people that will sure use them for what they are bred for working dogs not lap dogs. This big male I got is one ruff gritty ole boy big bone, big framed and built to take it and dish it out. Got to get him back in the woods and knock the rust off his butt. A few hunts with Horn, Bell , Blu , Penny, Bo and Swag and he will get all the rust knocked off along with some others stuff to if he dont watch out lol. Ole Tom been tied up for the last year and a half two yrs. Sure miss my ole huntin buddy.

Well i hope the rust knocks off easy. lol. I like the rough and gritty for sure. Id sure love to add a couple to my pack. The lacy we have now shes gritty but smart gritty its like she will shut one down but then bays loose as she keeps the hogs attention. A rough little pair would be nice that will sure enough stop one right now. Im getting married in April and when i get married the dogs that we hunt now will be at my brothers house. So i will be looking to start building me a a pack even though i will still hunt with all our other dogs and stuff but then will have my few i can walk out the back door and cut em loose.

How is Tom? My partner got a chigger dog that is a blood trailing dude. I just sold my lacy to a hunting outfit in south Texas. I'm running all hounds on hogs. I just like the sound of it.

I have a chigger dolly cross that I have caught allot of wounded deer with, I got him as a problem dog and he is by far the most dog aggressive dog I have ever owned, I was never able to break him from fighting, one day I finally had enough and had him neutered, I didn't want to pass on that trait. I have gone a completely different way on my blood dogs. But he is still in my kennels. He is the dog I want when tracking a live deer, not afraid to put teeth on one to get it stopped and then back up and bay till I get there....., big dog, very close to not meeting standards, but I know Tom raises big Lacys. The Claire gyp was in heat when I picked her up was not sure if i was going to breed her this time are wait. Decided to go ahead and did it today so she will be the first breeding . I got her bred today to a nice male . These dogs all go back to Toms ole Sarge dog and Toms bloodlines , So I guess if everything goes right I will have some Feb pups. The Claire gyp is 8 years old a older type gyp so it was really not a good thing to wait you never know if a old gyp is gonna come back in are not if you miss her. If am not mistaking Tom made the same cross I just made before and made some pretty good dogs . So Feb pups it is I guess if it all goes right. For those of you that mailed me stay in touch .  |
