Not good.... Gives the gov't even more "grey area" by which to "legally" impose it's will... regardless of right or wrong...
I am the first to say that we need to stop living in a "fairy tale" world... i.e., live by the rules of the WORLD we live in... We've been playing by the rules while the rest of the world does what it has to...
However, giving our gov't the power to detain anyone, anywhere, INDEFINITELY at will denotes the fact that we trust them... which I can comfortably say that no one I know does...
This is a dangerous idea.

thats kinda old news. they've doing it since 9/11 when bush signed a proposition into law that gives them the pwr to do as they see fit to stop terroorism, both domestic and abroad. i cant for the life of me think of the name of the law, but will repost when i think of it unless some1 else beats me to it. they must be trying to make it a full blown law, not just a subscript in the crap he signed 10yrs ago.

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!

dout it. if it was gonna make them go wild west, it wouldv already done it. there was a thing on the internet on yahoo and a couple other sites where people of special intrest to the feds for supposedly being domestic terrorists or interfering with gov operations were takin out the country to places where the feds were holding u.s. citizens during interogations and torture.

ARM YOUR SELVES WELL freedom is on the decline and i hope you didn't here it here first . in other contries it's called corruption in america it's called lobbyist . overseas their called terrorist in america their called cartells . i could go on forever .

the constitution means about as much to our government, as toilet paper. its just something to smear the poo around. if you believe our country isn't taking the american people down a narrow, steep and slippery slope with no chance of getting back up, then you've got ur head up ur 4th point of contact. the american people need to stand up and use the constitution and the decleration of independence before its to late, but the majority of the people are gutless chicken turds. not enough of people to stand and fight, but even if there would be enough to fight, they cant seem stop fighting amongst theirselves.
