looking for updated info on the 320 after some of you guys have used them for awhile.
is the range really better
how about the new map how is that?
did you have to subscribe to get the birds eye view
should i upgrade if im not having trouble with my 220

I got mine a few weeks ago, and haven't got to use it much yet, but I like everything about it so far. My dogs have only gone out 800yds on it so far, so I can't comment on the range. I have showed it to a few people who have the 220s and they seem impressed with the unit. Hope to do some good testing in the woods with it here pretty soon.
I did subscribe for the birds eye view, and I think its a pretty cool feature. I think for the $30 price it is worth it. I figure I will be able to download all the areas I will hunt within a years subscription time. I also downloaded the free topo map that is posted on ETHD, and it overlays right on top of the birds eye.
If you wanna put your hands on one and check it out, give me a shout sometime. I am in Coweta, but spend most of my free time in Wagoner.

I HAVE THE 32O AND THE BIRDS EYE VIEW. ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THE DOWNLOAD TIME TAKES AWHILE. YOU HAVE TO REALL NARROW YOUR HUNTING SPOTS DOWN ON THE MAP AND DOWNLOAD SMALLER AREAS IF YOU ARE IN A HURRY...I SUPPOSE IF YOU HAVE NOTHING TO DO YOU COULD TRY TO DOWNLOAD THE WHOLE STATE IN YOUR SPARE TIME.
I DO LIKE IT BETTER THAT THE 220. GOOD LUCK.

Craig, Yes, it is worth upgrading if you can swap and are out less than $150. I really like this a lot. Basically, it is google earth without all the labels.  |
