I went hunting Thursday between Franklin and Caldwell and lost my Plott hound. He has a cut collar that is black and orange and a Wildlife tracking collar that is green.

Here is what happened. My sending unit got accidently turned on and ran the battery down. Some kind of way this sometimes happens when you put it in the carrying case. Once we got all the dogs in except this one I tried to track him and then realized the unit was down.

Immediately I put it on charge with the car charger. I waited about 30 minutes and tried to track him and got nothing. I kept charging and went by road in the direction that I knew he was last heading. All along the way I kept stopping and trying to pick him up and never got a signal at all. My unit is a TRX-10 Wildlife and I have tracked dogs for miles before with it.

Havn't got a call even though both collars had both my numbers on them. This dog is black brindle getting a little white around the muzzle. He has been cut on the right flank (about 6") and another cut on the right shoulder. The cuts are hard to see. This dog had to be picked up and taken out of the area.
If you run across somebody trying to see a dog fitting this description call Mike Murphy 903-245-7541

Sure helps if you post a picture of the dog with and without the collars, lots of guys will steal the collars and dump the dog somewhere else or keep it until a reward shows up or haul it to a dog trader, hope u find it asap, good luck!!
