I have a buddy that had some really good barr hogs on camera during deer season, and we finally got out there to hunt today. Met Big E, Marshall Mims and Ryan out there around 9 and tried to do some track hunting. Found a real good track but the dogs just couldn’t work it out and never found him. Anyways long story short by lunch we had covered the lease and hadn’t really done anything. Boogie and Lexi ran something for a long time and long ways way outta the country and we went and got them caught. Decided to pack up run across the road to a small piece we had permission on. Fresh sign everywhere.  Boogie cold trailed him to his bed around a half mile later. This is at 2 o clock in the afternoon. His nose sure is getting colder. I was there way ahead of everyone else and got some cool picture and videos. I had to put the phone down after turning the bulldog loose because it was getting bad in the stump hole. We got him caught though. Barr hog about 250#, we already processed for sausage. Ended up with a another shoat and called it a day. Enjoy
Briar, Boogie and Mikey are in the pictures.

Fine hog there and good looking black gyp in the back of that machine.

"Boogie cold trailed him to his bed around a half mile later. This is at 2 o clock in the afternoon. His nose sure is getting colder."

that bloodline is something else Tony.  Always progressing as they get older, and seems like when they get old and slow they manage to step thier game up another notch to make up for it.

Loved that video Tony! Looked to me that you got frustrated on the catch and had to step in! lol

Lol yeah Allen it was getting kinda bad, and I was afraid of dogs getting hurt. When Ryan and Marshall showed up with the bulldog I asked them if they wanted me to help catch it or video it.... Lol they both kinda hesitated and mumbled something about needing help. I could see Goose coming out of the corner of my eye. He's rough and I knew we had enough help on the ground.  So I went ahead and told him to turn Redman loose. Goose actually hit the hog before the cd. I don't mind videoing an trying to get some good action but he was a handful and was trashing everything so enough was enough. Funny thing though by the time I got it put up and stepped in Marshall and Ryan got him caught.. All in all,  just a few scratches for all the dogs. Thanks everyone!
