i have decided to buy me an insurance tracker. but i am completely blind to the old school trackers. after doing a lil searching, i have come down to these two. i found a quiktrack i can get prolly for 200 to 400 bucks with 5 collars, an 09 model. any and all input is greatly appreciated as i dont even know how to run these things!!!

Quick track is the way to go, Ive had just about all the telementary systems there is and quick track is the best by far hands down. If possible Id reccomend getting the 6000, it tracks every freq. collar made.

I HAVE BOTH THE QUICK TRACK 6000 & WILDLIFE 1000, BOTH ARE GOOD UNIT. I USED THE 6000 ABOUT 90% OF THE TIME. BUT WENT THING GO BAD THE 1000 HAS WAY MORE LONG RANGE. ALSO COLLAR MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE I LIKE WILDLIFE MAG WITH CHANGEABLE BATTERY.

Wildlife is much better I am selling a TRX- 3 with 3 collars for 400. Was made in march 2010. System is in excellent condition. Has sealed 7000 hour batteries with case and folding antenna with handle and case. I just purchased a Garmin.

I now have a quick track and have had problems with it but it is an older model and I got it very used...

but the newer one is proably the better of all the old style.

I owned an MN-10 and I used it hard for about 15 years and never a problem and always worked...have 2 friends that bought them after I did and none have ever had a problem with them...I was told back then that the bear hunters used the mn-10 and was their favorite unit... does not have the range that the quick track 10 has but is acceptable.
