I'm about to build a kennel for eight dogs I'm going all out concrete everything
does any body have any sugestions on how big the single pens need to be I have always
had my dogs chained I got an idea on how big just wonted to c what other people had

mine are 6 x 16 with 4"x4" utility panels 5' tall worked out pretty nice. I had to run a hot wire around the top of one for a climber other than that one dog it worked great. i put a roof over 6 feet of the kennel.

The law has NOT passed yet but what they have been trying to fight for is 10 X 10 kennels for years now, If I was building I would not build any less than (its by sqare ft)

Mine are 5'x8' and some are 8'x'8', BUT they get exercised in a 2 acre pen every day. If they are kenneled 24/7 I would go much bigger.

Whatever size you choose, it's usually best to work in 5' increments so you have less waste from your materials. If you plan to use welded wire panels, they are commonly sold in 20' lengths. I made my pens 5' X 15'. That way I could get one side and a front or back from one panel with no waste.
