I think the hardest part of blood tracking is to get the dog to stick to tracking the one scent and to match the blood to the hoof scent of that animal . Strike dog follows scent,a blood dog follows a physical source of smell for part of the track. Any dog can be a blood dog,takes a real dog to be a tracking dog.
