Ok so i need some help and I've been racking my brain over these females coming in. What i want to breed is Superman and Stew to 3 females i have. All the females are out of rangey dogs so what i have in the males is more what i'm concerned with.
Superman- 1/2 BMC 1/2 Cat- Med/Longe range with plenty if not more bottom than you want. Solid strike dog that stays back, not gritty at all.
Stew- Hart bloodline 100% BMC- short range 200 to 400 yard dog but gritty as hell.
My question is one of the females i have which i wanted Superman to breed is 3 litter down from Stew and is BMC Hart bloodline. So this summer i have 3 litters of dogs and yes i want to breed Stew in the mix because i use some of these short range dogs on some places i have contracted. What I'm geeting at is would you keep the yellows straight or Mix them up with Superman as well? I will already have a mixture with Superman brreeding the other 2 so i woudln't have any straight bloodline dogs if i don't use the BMC gyp with Stew, and not saying they will be rough either becuase all the Hart bloodline i hunted behind are long, LONG range dogs besides my Stew dog.

I'd breed Stew to the Hart gyp, being that he is a shorter ranged dog in in a line of longer ranged dogs there's a real good chane he's gonna throw the best of both worlds with a few more shorter, range grittier pups and hopefully a few throwbacks to the older, lOnger ranged type.
Give me a shout when you get a chance, got a question for you on the hunt

So Stew is with the Hart gyp and Superman is a heterosexually challenged i think, he won't mount up. I'm taking him to a vet this week to see what the problem is. If i have to draw from him i will sure be willing too. Just an update. I'm keeping them straight for now!

my .2 i would keep yellows together unless you want to put more nose and range in them and bottom. breed superman to my bitch or dudly and we will have cat dogs with 1/4 bmc. just rember go with yur gut and there yur dogs, there all great for different types of hogs . what ever you choose you realy cant go wrong.
