i always hear ppl tlk about how good it makes you feel to see a dog that you own finally turn on, but i've never had tha joy of experiencing it til today.  i got two pups about 8 mnths that i've been wanting to get started so i posted on here looking for a pig and finally FINDAHOG came through for me and got me one. i tell you what i expected these two pups to kind of bark but not show to much interest since it was there first time seeing a pig but they looked like two old pro's out there. it just gives you a feeling like no other to
watch your pups do that. these are my first 2 hunting dogs of my own, i've been hunting with some other ppl but its not tha same as watching your own dogs work.

i know what you mean.  the latest dog ive started is this pink nosed bmc.  i started him about a month ago and already is the longest ranged dog we hunt.  he turned a year old last week.  he has struck cows and javelinas, but not hogs yet.  all the dogs we hunt, we started ourselves.  just wait till they find their own hog for the first time, then you'll be bouncing with joy.
