We just started the house dog on Trifexis today. Im hoping that it does everything that it says it does. It is one monthly pill that prevents heartworms, kills fleas, and intestinal worms all in one. It was a little over $100 for six pills for a 60 to 120 lb. dog. Not too bad since it does the work of three different things.
Has anyone else used it? If so, how do you like it so far? I will keep yall updated on how well it works out for us.

I'd like to see if this really works on dogs that are in the woods alot as far as the flea and tick prevention. look forward to seeing if this stuff works. It sounds kinda pricy for my budget, but I'm cheap to

Ive been using it for several months now Dinah and it seems to be doing great....I was already using comfortis so i didn't have any fleas, but i sure like having the wormer in to.....Just to let you know if you plan on breeding a female on either one of these you better take them off a few months in advance. i tried breeding a gyp and my wife tried breeding her dog with them both on it and neither dog stuck. Read later on the package that its a good possibility that they will not take......

Heck yeah! I like hearing this. I like a planned out litter and our dogs have been know to get bred by osmosis. This just makes me like it even more. But thank you for the info because I may want to breed a gyp in about a year or so. So its good to know that I would need to take her off of the med for a while before trying. Thanks. I may ask the vet about this......I hope that it doesn't make a dog sterile.
