Does anybody use one of these on their dogs and if so how well does it work for you? Probably could get some real good action stuff using one of these and up-close footage.

Are you talking about the go pro helmet cam? I thought about getting one. I just  haven't figured out how to mount it where it won't get all hung up in vines and briars.

Seen footage on some hunting show. Maybe the " Kashin In" one. The footage was pretty bad while dog was running, fine while it was standing still, winding, etc. Even with the bad footage I thought it might be worth a try. Could shed some light on your dogs hunting style, etc.

I plan to buy one late this summer and use it when I run the Berlin marathon.  I have seen it used on marathons effectively by setting it to time lapsed mode.  It condenses a 3 or 4 hour run into 5 or 10 minutes.

I have seen cyclists do the same.

Good to hear I'm not the only one who has thought about doing this! Strapping a camera to my dog. I want to do it just trying to figure out how to get a good mount for it.

Look on page 2 of the thread below.  It has some good detailed pics of how to mount it to the dog.  Read the whole thread, as the info on there will help answer some of the obvious questions that will come up.

Regards,
Josh
