made me a new knife

Been thinking on this for a while.  Kinda different but for a skinning knife I think it will work.  The handle is the tip off of the blow horn I made a while back and the blade is one I broke heat treating it so figured this was a good try.

Made my first knife ever last week, it not finished but well started. Working on a cable damascus one now . i like yours , I like different styles and that one looks handy. What was the blade made from?

The blade was an old butcher blade if you look close you can see the lines in it.
