Kid hunt....meat hogs....lot of fun.....

Wasn't planning on hunting but got a little shower Friday night and it cooled off to 65 degrees.  Just got Track off the IR list, we had some young dogs to work and the kids had been bugging us so we loaded up dogs and our 4 little good luck charms and headed out.  Struck hogs 5 minutes and kept rolling into them.  Andy picked up a nice little walker bitch that was a coondog reject cause she kept baying hogs.  She has been packing up with Sam nicely and they trailed one up almost a mile tonight and brought it to bay.  

Good fun hunt.  Good weather.  Young dogs got some great work.  Kids had a blast and were in the woods - not on the couch.

jeff them are some dang good pics, i like seen the young one out pounding the woods with dad, andy little one even looks like hes having a blast. rest them dogs up good cause the tourny is next wkend .

Hell we can go out with one strike dog and a bulldog or two and catch them but this was a hunt for fun.  Everybody got to go.  Cut 3 CD's loose I don't care these hogs weren't coming out alive.  Too much to hobble and pack out when you've got little ones to tend to.
