Ran into Allen Hebel "WestTexasCurs" at the store in town and talked dog for a bit  and decided to load up and go make a run on one of his places. It had just rained a couple inches so we figured we had a good chance of picking something up.
We pulled into the place and droped two of Allens old mt. Cur dogs, my Tiger dog and two pups, my 1yr old ladner gyp Penny, and Cub a full sister to Tiger. We roaded through the place aand it wasn't long before Allen noticed a big boar track in the road and looked up and Tiger was gone.. We pulled out the garmin and watched him work back and forth between 200 and 170yds a couple times and finally worked it out and started hammering down at 170yds. All the dogs got there and we knew it was a good one by the way they were hammering down. After hearing the dogs starting.g to get hit I sent my cd Sookie from about 60 into some real thick brush and she went in and anchored him down. Legged and hurry up and stick him so we could tend to dogs..

Hell of a hunt with a Hell of a guy and good friend..thanks a lot Allen I hope tracker heels up well. She's a tough old dog..can't wait to do it again!

Sorry didn't get any good pics do to having to tend to dogs  but this was one mean sucker, every bit of a healthy 215lbs  with some nice daggers..he broke his right side off in one of dogs..

Nice job Trey.  I've never met Alan but we share a couple of mutual friends - hear he's a great guy with some good dogs.

Take care of those dogs, and good boar hog.
