Took out some good friends. Hit the first field and nothing. Drove to a second field and the dogs got out ran three different times. We decided we would try one more field. We arrived and began walking, about 5mins into the walk we get a bay. The hog breaks, & runs across the road. I'm thinking, smoked again, then out of nowhere Kit( Plott X Cur I got from BrushBuster, thanks Tres) comes flying out of the Milo and shuts the hog down. Hector, makes short work of the sow. We dress the sow out and on again. 5mins and another bay. Dogs work together go on shutting it down quickly. Now I'm excited dogs are clicking. We head out on another walk. About 10 mins in and we spot a hog out in the open. Dogs started baying and tried to catch, but this boar was not having it. He tossed dogs like nothing & being short on a catch dog that came back to bite us on the a**. After several minutes of baying the rank boar, Kit would not allow this hog to get away. She would shut him down every time he broke. We finally decided to end it before our dogs got hurt. I then ended it by shooting the hog. We gathered the dogs up & one BMC had a stab wound on her chest & slice under her jaw, another BMC had his leg slashed, my Jag's rear thigh gashed into his muscle. Not good!! But we got 3 & looking for a solid catch dog.
