The whole family and I met up with HogBoy to make a short round in the swirling winds and misty showers. Ron brought his lead dog Zoey, and We brought two well started dogs and my Daughters pup for bay dogs. We each brought a catch dog. Between the mosquitos and the weather it was not the most pleasant begining to a hunt. As we walked a nearly dry creek, slowly approached a coastal patch and seen hogs rooting in the open, Zoey was GONE trailing ways off so we decided to stalk the dogs down wind of the hogs, Shortly the dogs caught the wind right and the race was on as the hogs spotted us coming and bunched and chattered for a moment and then split, but the catch dogs were already on the way. Speedy and Earl were running one down , as Morgan caught up to it, and my daughters pup was on her own, The pup found another gear, and jerked the hog to a spinning stop, just in time for Titus to nail it. All this was in the open and my daughter got to see her dog, that I bred and she raised up "Beauty" in action on her 5th hunt. Zoey rolled out and bayed again but it broke several more times with her sticking with for a long way. As we were tracking to her, Beauty hit a trail and found and caught her own pig, My Girl was pretty proud of her dog and this hunt, as am I proud of them both. We finaly got Zoey back after good while and then finaly made it back to the trucks, the weather never let us have a break.
HogBoy dispatching one hog

As you can tell from the clarity, or lack of, this was a long ways off from where we started downwind
