Went hunting lastnight with my Son and the crew. Put dogs out around 10 pm and had a small pregnant sow caught with my yellow male and 1 other Cur dog by 10:30ish, Got smoked on another one. caretaker very happy.  Went to the next property and busted up a big pack , my new  Mountain Cur and 1 other cur caught a healthy boar hog in open pasture, hog is about 180. Called it quits after that because it was still hot even in the middle of the night and did not want to over heat any dogs. Home and hogs in pen around 2:30 am. Great night,  i now have 3 hogs in the pen this month in 2 hunts. Young dogs did great.

Thanks man, this place seems to have alot of listed hogs. I have caught more listed hogs on this property since november than i have caught in 20 years hog hunting. I am curious to see the colors of the babies when she has them.

Nice! Whereabouts y'all hunting in central FL? I was born/raised and live in the Hillsborough and Pasco county areas for years. Hogs were everywhere in Pasco!

Thank you. The bigger boar hog decided he did not like my pen and jumped the 5 ft fence on Monday. First one to jump my pen. I caught him in my pasture with 2 Cur dogs and put him back. he seen me and tried to eat me up, thanks to the dogs he did not as i had no place to go. I ran boards at the corners thinking he might have climbed them and the next morning i was awoke at 7:50 with my dogs going crazy, looked out the window and seen him trotting across the pasture again. He jumped, No doubt. This time i took my AB that needed the work with my 2 cur dogs and caught him again. Killed him, Quartered him up and he is now freezer meat.  Another day in the country.
