My sons drawing after last weekends hunt.

My daughters first hunt last weekend with her best friend ( user "jakes" daughter) and my son

Realizing my 7yr old son is addicted too. I was about to turn in for the night. He left this at my door... I took it as his " don't leave me at home this time" plea.

Ain't nothing like it man. It is a bit of a pain when you have to worry about getting two people ready, but when you see him enjoying it you won't want it any other way. My son and daughter have claimed dogs... They left me with the cd and the chit eaters lol.

the big doe is 151 field dressed! she fell off the river bank after my little girl shot her.She said hurry up and get her out I swam over and pulled her out in very cold water. then had to dig foot holds up a very steep bank. I think I enlarged a hernia getting her out but the girl bragged for weeks about how big her deer was. She stammered the rest of the day she was so exited. my boy got his the next evening, took about five at 20 yrds or less for him to finally look through the scope. It was priceless. I have them asking how long until deer season now.

My oldest daughter is about to leave for college. Of course I turned into a complete embarrassing idiot about the time she turned 15. But until then we had some great times doing everything from dove hunting, fishing, etc. My 2 boys are 11-12 and they still like to roll out with me. My buddy took a picture of me changing a diaper in the boat one night while we were running yo-yos. Man oh man. I wouldn't want to do it again but I wouldnt change a thing. Enjoy then while they r young cause it seems like last year I was pushing her around in a wagon and now shes gone to college!

Today's wasn't bad either. Alot of races left Obie's Indy dog on a solo strike and bay on a 350lb+ boar and was phenomenal. Of coarse the kids enjoyed it. My son in camo, David's son Max in blue, the older two are Obie's boy Nate and girl nova.
