I had not been hunting in awhile so I decided to give it a shot tinight. I wish i woulda stayed home. After about a hour of roading on my four wheeler I jumped one at a tank. New it was a pig by the way the dogs were acting. Had them in the garmin about .190 out they acted like they were gonna set down and bay like they usally do. I noticed my strike dog bubba was not barking and there was never really a solid bay so I eased in to check things out and my other two dogs met me about halfway. When I got there my dog was layed out with two holes right in his heart put him on the four wheeler but by the time I got back he was gone.he was a nice dog. He was a yr and 1/2 and had a lot if hogs under his belt. Just never learned to back off and bay. He will be missed. Got a fool blooded sister to him plan in breeding her to a good yella dog if anyone wants to raise some pups

Hell I don't care who says what, I'm attached to my dogs and Just about everyone I know that has hogdogs are attached to there's as well. When you put forth so much time/blood/sweat/tears/money and work into em how can you not be attached?

J hate to hear about you loosin your dog, seems like its always the good ones.......

Don't know where you are located but I have a couple males that you could look at for breedin her (they are not for sale tho lol).......pm me if interested.

its a hard thing to loose  a good dog  lost my  strike dog that ive hunted behind for 6 solid years  last winter to a boar  the one thing that mad it better is that having their offspring around  and you have to have a good bond with your dogs for them to perform at 100% least he went out doing somthing he liked to do for you.sorry for your lost  rip rip bubba
