Weve caught cows... in every place imaginable... i roped some ol sour salebarn cows in downtown Beebe arkansas one time. they escaped and we got called to catch em. First one i caught was dead center in the middle of town underneath a stoplight in the main intersection! LOL!. We only took out one car mirror! HA HA! Ive roped Bulls, pigs, goats, horses, jackasses- 2 legged and 4!, a dog or two, we roped a goose and a couple ducks one time, Several Deer, i caught an emu or ostrich one tiem that had escaped the neigbors... You talk about head duckin! LOL! Ive also roped my fair share of wild women!!!

ive got a good story for this one when i was a kid i was ridin mules , horses and most everything that had hair on it. my dad was a killer buyer back then and we had alot of stock around and i tryed all of em.
i had been seeing a wild goat down in a creek bottm on the back side of our place now this was way back in the country our closest neighbor was 2 mile.,and it was 15 mi. to town, anyway i was ridin a young mule one day down by the creek i had been ropin and dragin logs and just anything to help gentle her down. yeh you guessed it i see that goat and this thing is wild as a deer, i feel in after that goat thru the brush we went, i finally got him lined out across a small field and roped him , scared the chit out of the mule that goat flippin on the end of the rope, finally got everything in check and took off leadin(dragin mostly) the goat back to the house, i kept that goat for 6mo tie and ropin it, i got tired of messin with him and sold him to a goat trader for $20, man that has been 30 years ago.
mostly just cattle since then, a dog or a horse ocassionally and a hand full of hogs havent run on to anymore wild goats lol

Roped a yearling racing colt once on foot, bugger just wouldn't let you get your hands on him... the rope slid down to the base of his neck as he bolted... not wanting to let the rope go and have the colt run through the fence in front of the owners... I dug my heels in and held on for dear life.... if you've never drug on yer arse behind a runaway train before, you might not know what I'm talking about. I guarantee I reached speeds of 40mph+.... had no backside to my britches left by the time he fell out.... I sat down real gentle like for a few days too But I got that little turd, that's the important part!

Oh, the stories I could tell of Ol' Noah with a rope. I'll save those for later.
I personally have roped people, geese, hogs, and cows. However, I would venture to say my actual roping to attempting to rope ratio is about 1 to 1000. I'll leave it to others to master. Everything I've roped was while I was on foot, as I don't ride horses at all anymore.
I will add, Noah was good buddies with the Canadian roping champion several years back. I think he may have taught Noah a few tricks.

We were just getting into roping and me and a buddy went in on halves and bought 3 steers... LOL!. WEll we get em home, but dont have a run back lane from the milk barn to the arena... and no horses around at this farm... So.. we get the bright idea that we are stud enough to just hold on to em and " Lead" em to the arena.. Well yeah... BS... So we put a rope aound the horns, and each one of us got a hold and opened the trailer door... yall can guess what happend after about the first 20 yards of "leading" the steers, We got our skinny butts drug all around that pasture! but by durnit i didnt let go! Me and my steer ended up upside down in the pond and my buddy found out that sliding down an old crooked 4 strand fence aint fun.... So an hour after we opened the gate... off we go to get horses and ended up taking us the rest of the night to catch em... The funny part was when we finally roped em to go back home two of em had made it to a subdivision and were eatin grass around someones pool.... Needless to say they werent happy with us...

i roped a gator one time and it was one of those 'i may get wet " deals i swished a stick in the tank and the gator came towards me and i slowly lower my head and head light and roped this giant lizard and the war began next thing i reized i was neck deep in the tank and thinking to myself i was stupid and let the gator have the rope.. then i made the mistake on roping a lose ostrich once again it wasnt pretty i knew i should of gottin a horse,, when i finally got that head bobbing critter roped it decided it wanted me and th chase was on wasnt a pretty good show i got him snubbed to a tree
one more roping wreck , we had this young chianina x bull the was a mean sob and would hook a horse in a heart beat so daddy had this grreat ideal for me to rope him out of the truck and then bring the trailer to the bull..well if you ever tried that you know it dont work ,, figureing the bull was worn out i had figured i could rope him and tie him to the truck ,,,,, o man was i wrong that sucker wanted apiece of me i made a be line for the truck and dove over the bed about the tiime he nailed the bed hanging his horns in it and knocking hisself goofy tied that sucker to the bumper and drug him to the trailer good thing i got the flat bed i wanted after that
neatest thing i saw was two buddies of mine rope a coyote and stretch him
we had a jeep with a seat on the front and we would go to town and rope girls in the sonic and safeway parking lot dang that was 30 something years ago dexter

a few emu's for my ex-girlfriends grandparents, that was one heck of a mess. luckily the emu's were still in the pen and we weren't lol. they decided to get rid of em so we roped em and pulled em up to the fence(her 2 cousins helped me pull em, those suckers are pretty dang strong) and shot em in the head with a little single shot .410 i had....few steers, but mostly dummies. all when i was a lot younger, but heck it's been a long time since i've even rode a horse.

i roped a doe once that jumped up in front of me when i was chasing a cow . i got a call one time to catch a year and a half old buffalo bull i had to go or everybody would say iwas scared , right ? so i called my buddy and he wouldnt let me use his horse but said he d help me . i had a 50 foot rope and got close enough to throw everything but the tail , as soon as i dallied i was looking for a good snubbing tree , luckily my partner got half a head we tried our best to choke him down but couldnt , were sure proud to have him on the trailer .
we catch cattle usually for 150 a head , we got 500 for that deal and told the guy if he got out again it d be 800 (if we wernt out of town ) lol

Buffalo are tough! I used to ride cutting horses and thats what we used to train em. they are great for that, but when they get out they will run like the wind and a fence aint nothin to em! And they do not like bein on the end of a rope. We had to rope them with someone you trust because if you got a head and couldnt flip em they get under a horse in a hurry!!! We had a local fella decide he was gonna be a buffalo farmer... he put em in a 3 strand fence.. he soon became a broke buffalo hunter! LOL! We finally got about half of em penned up for him and then roped a bunch of em... I think there is prob a small herd of em still alive around the area.. LOL! He wanted high dollar for em at first and then he couldnt give em away fast enough when they went all over the country... he tried to deny he even owned em!
