I have bought vehicles from government auctions. A good deal may not be such a good deal. Besides the fact there could be problems they have been parked for years. If it is not a real good deal do not touch it unless you own your own mechanic shop. The ATV's go for stupid prices. The problem is when people get on these auctions thinking they are getting a good deal. You should never pay retail or even wholesale. I have gotten some cool stuff but I have been burned real bad. I got a truck with a bent frame. It was so bad the engine had dropped. Never pay more than a junkyard will pay you.
