Had two buds come over to bring me a few pups from Florida so we tried to put them on a hunt...none of us realized it was opening weekend of bow season when we set it up

so we made a bunch of calls last week trying to line up atleast one spot, ended up gettin two thanks to Peaches n CircleC ( thank you both ) and to the other folks who tried to get us spots also, thanks (y'all know who ya are).. it was a little stressful trying to keep everything lined uf and organized/scheduled etc and the rain sure didn't make things any better.
We finally got lined out and got to the ranch after eating that good mex food before hand, the rain had seemed to slack up and we cut a couple dogs out right before dark, not long there after Travis gyp got one started. We let her work and moved out to anothe section and cut a few more loose, wasn't to long after the bottom fell out again....so we hunckered down in the rangers and waited for it to pass,30 min lter it was still blowin and rainin pretty hard.
But.....shorlty there after our three dogs showed bayed and they weren't moving so w decided being we were already soaked so may as well head to them,we got there and had a godd, solid bay in what we thought was a creek...whet to get ready to turn loose bulldogs and Pee wee busted outa the box and was fliyin to the bay so I cut loose his sister and sen her from the ranger. Ran behind them and slid down the bank to the creek as you could here a war going on,got to the bottom and at the creek there was a big culvert bout 6'tall by 30' or so long with knee to waist deep water and there he was, giving them hell, bulldogs caught but facing me,finally hespun with the dogs and I got behind him and travis was able to get in there with the chaos and dispatch him. He went # 280 on the scales,no giant cutter but well versed in how to use them,he put my Preacher man dog down for prolly a month and striker for a week or so,Travis Lady gyp will prolly be down a couple weeks as well. Bulldogs dig good and no cut but both vest had some good cuts.
Thank Travis and Jason for all the help getting this done for these folks, preciate it.
