Ben is part of Texas Boar Hounds, and has put in a lot of time with us. He is a really good guy, and a great friend. He took his first hog with a bow this morning, so I figured I'd share it for him. We are all guessing she would have gone 195-210. Real fatty, healthy, and clean so GOOD for eaten!
Freezer is full. He called me for help this morning at 8:45, we woke up, and went and helped him track it down. He said he was stalking a group at a pond, and this sow came up to him not 10 yards and facing him. She came at him and he pluged her in the chest. We tracked her down 200 yards or so from where he shot her with a good blood trail, and then helped him pack her out 700 yards to the truck. Fun morning helping a good friend.
