 Looking for the re charge able batterys for the astro 320. Isnt it possible to have them and charge via lighter plug? Or even usb would work.

I use rechargeable aa batteries from walmart. They come as a kit with the charger and four batteries for 17 bucks. I bought the kit with the highest mah rating on the batteries, they last about twices as long as regular aa batteries. It doesnt take too many hunts to pay for itself

 Thats what I might have to do. I thought there was a way to charge while still in the Astro though.

I haven't fooled with trying it in ages, but can't you plug it in to your cig lighter while your riding around and keep it from using battery power? I could be dead wrong though?

Ya I have plug it in to my cig lighter when batteries went all the way dead and it will work with no batteries

I use Duracell rechargeable from Walmart cost like $15 bucks I generally go all day on a set of batteries. Best investment so far.

 a guy i know used recharges but said he had to change the settings for the diff batts bc his hand held was acting funny and turning off after it pwrd up. i think he went back to using disp. batts.

I use the energizer lithiums and they last for ever.  I wouldn't waste money on rechargage batteries, a chargers, ect. just buy two sets of good batteries, put one in and carry the other set in your pack.
