Yeah i always loved it back home in australia, lots of foxes rabbits roos etc to chase and spotlighting on the wheat and rice stubble over thousands of acres was even better. These two came from a guy up here in oklahoma by the name of shannon, i also got my stag/ airedale cross from him a couple of years ago. He and his dad have some sure enough catch and kill their own yote type dogs. He had 5 of these available, all have hair in their pedigree but wont be shags, just a light fuzz up over their backs. Whats more important is his line of dogs is extremely thick hided, more important thatn hair in his opinion, mine too. They were 200 each and i believe the others are already spoken for. Im having a blast teaching these the basics because when its all said and done i want them to be able to travel horseback beside me,on the 4 wheeler,on the flatbed and on foot and know when too chase and when not to. Trust me it can be done, its a lot of work breaking them from what they arent suppose to kill(barn cats chickens etc) but the end result will be some fun handy runnin dogs. Ive been done with the hog dogs since summer time, dont have any other dogs on the yard except these 2 and the stag cross now belongs to my girlfriend.

Beautiful!!!! Look forward to seeing pics as they grow/work!

If things work out, I may have me a nice Stag pup to hunt with in the near future too!

Husband has a Whippet, and MAN is it fun to watch these sighthounds hunt! They are SOOOO fast!
