At this time, Hesseltine Kennels has multiple dogs and pups for sale due to having 2 more liters of pups. Before I give any details on the dogs, and due to the numerous postings of dog deals going bad along with only culls or junk dogs on the dogs for sale list, I invite anyone to ask any members on here about me and the dogs I have sold them or post my name to see their responses. This will show that I am not trying to sell any culls and I am an honest and fair person with my dogs. With that being said, here are the dogs I have for sale at this time. First dog is Ed. He is a 6 yr old male dog that is ½ plot ½ cur. He is a finished dog that is trash broke and he is silent on trail. He is a little slow due to his age and he ranges out about 600 yards. He does have an attitude problem especially with male dogs and he likes to claim the hog once it has been secured. He is not for young unexperienced hunters. I will be getting him fixed after the holidays unless someone wants him intact. He is not gritty but will grab a hog to make it sit down plus you can shoot over top of this dog. Second dog is Molly. She is a 4 year old Catahoula that is finished and is trash broke. She becomes open once she strikes and stays open until she bays. She ranges out about 200-600 yards. Molly hunts better in the day then she does at night plus it takes her a few days to warm up to strangers. She is not gritty unless another dog catches. Third dog is Tavo. He is around 2 years old and is a cur/hound cross. He is not finished but well started. He has found his own hog numerous times and he is gritty. Sometimes he is silent and other times he is like Molly, once he strikes he is open until he bays. Fourth dog is Levi. He is around 2 and he is a Catahoula/hound cross. He is not finished but he can find his own hog. Levi is open on track. He has a good nose and he will get gritty. He just needs to be hunted more. Levi will stay on one for hours. All these dogs are broke off cattle and horses. $600 for Ed, $400 for Molly, $300 for Tavo and $300 for Levi. These 4 dogs can be hunted here with me or a 7 day trial will be given. We also have 2 cur cross pups for sale that have not been started that are 4 months old for $75 apiece or a $100 for both.
