I couldnt find a rack on line to fit my ranger so i built one tonight. Figured i would show it off.
Gonna add another bar around the front but thats another day

I finished the fabbing today, i made it so it will flip up out of the way if you need to get into the hood. Still gotta throw some paint on it

I used a piece of angle and two u blots to mount it to the roll bar where the windshield bolts. That way it will tilt up. The front supports i just built to sit around the pipe bumper and use a bungy cord to hold it down to the bumper so it cant bounce up or rattle. We went huntin tonight and it worked great. I wish i would have set up and built it months ago.

Miller i used a mig. I used to weld for Halliburton so i have used all kinds of machines. To me a mig is the easiest for fabbing junk like this

agreed i built a dog trailer for a buddy but i used self shielding flux core it was dirty as hell but made some pretty nice welds an was surprisingly strong for using just a 110 welder
