ok so here it goes ive got a breed that im in the process of but think i have may messed up along the way what i have is a 1/2 cat 1/4 mtcur 1/4 pit i bred him to a 1/2 bmc 1/2 plott i have this real good pup off this litter and want to do a daddy daughter cross now keep in mind that this pup is 1/4 cat 1/4 bmc 1/4 plott 1/8 mt cur 1/8 pit and want to breed it back to the dad which is the 1/2 cat 1/4 mt cur 1/4 pit i know the parents to the great grand parents but thats about as far as i know goin back do yall think it will be a good cross later down the road i like for a dog to mature before i breed so it will be about 3 yrs from now what yall think about my gumbo of a dog idea lol

My calculator would not process that many decimals...so I woull say.....if they are both the best you have or have access to...sling em and ring em...

if the sire has more of the traits you are looking for than the dame, go for the father daughter cross or vice versa . just remember you will be increasing the traits of wich ever parent you breed to good AND bad .

haha that almost sounds like me im tryin to breed 1/2 plott 1/4 cur 1/4 pitt to a 1/2 plott 1/4 cur 1/4 pitt both of these dogs are jam up dogs they been breed this way for 30 yrs i hope my cross works
