i picked up a 8 year old dog over the weekend,was wanting to get some pups out of her.but she is extremly over weight was curious to know if any of you guys had dealt with this and what you tryd kerrey2549675614   jeana.welch@yahoo.com

Regulate her feed. Measure it out. How much does she weigh now?

she weighs 56lbs and she should weigh around 30 to 35lbs a friend told me to try cycle 3 dog food on her said it would help

I'd feed her a straight measured 1 cup a day. Feed her a low fat feed. Once you get her down to the desired weight, you can add to the amount just a tad till you figure out what her proper maintenance amount is.....

No problem. Just be patient and you will see the results. Dropping weight off of an obese dog does take some time, but you'll be very pleased once you see results.
