I have a pitbull pup about 3 r 4 months old. Just wandering if anyone has ever used a deaf catch dog? If so what is the best way to train and use her?

Get a dog that can hear will save you time , some times hogs bay in places the dogs can't see , holes up under banks thick brush , or any thing like that then if bay break an you trying to catch the dog you can't call it back to you sounds like a bunch of trouble to me

I have a deaf Dogo, 7 months old. She runs with the bay dogs and has no problem. I always run a garmin on her to keep track in case she goes her own way. Its risky but she loves to hunt and catches every time so I give her the chance. I always have my other catch dog with me just in case. I'm sure plenty people will talk number 2 but the dog hunts and catches and that's the most important part.

Put them down and move on... it's just an accident waiting to happen.
