There was a study done on dex and it did abort pups. Doseage and side effects are listed on the site provided. I contemplated both but using dex was never used traditionally so i decided to go with the estrogen shot

The reason I went with the estrogen shot is because I needed a quick fix on my gyp. It was summer and i didnt want her to miss out on the hunting because she just made 2yrs old and was coming along nicely. If it would have made her barren I would be kicking myself in the pooter. If it would have happened in last week in the "winter" cycle I would have let her have them to keep from the risks of the shots
