Went to the woods with my hunting buddies Jordan and dale. And a newbie from Arkansas Tim. Dale brought his shep dog. Jordan brought two seasoned dogs and a pup and I brought my buzz dog and a younger pup. And Chomper as our only Catchdog. Dropped dogs around 11 dogs worked a good bit with nothing to show. Moved on down the property a ways when my buzz dog sounded off 150 yards away next thing we see this boar cross the road with shep and buzz on his tail and the other dogs behind them. They get maybe 50 yards across the road and bayed up. I turned chomper loose and he was caught solid when we got there. This hog was the smaller of the two.  We tied the hog up and eased on down the path we were walking on to see if we could get on another.  An hour or so later we were just taking a break by a little creek letting all dogs get some water when we noticed buzz was gone. Looked at the gps and he was bayed up by himself 550 yards ahead. As we headed that way all the dogs heard him and headed that way.  Cut Chomper loose and he ran in and caught. Tied the pig up and then realized by the time we left and got a 4 wheeler we would be dragging them out in the dark. The newbie from Arkansas was pumped that he got to take a head home with him.

The first two pics are the first hog.

Me and chomper

Me Jordan and chomper.

Very nice.  The one on the right looks like he would have been a nice hof to mount on the wall.

Yea I still have her.  I am assuming your talking about the one that is a litter mate to yours.  These were her second and third hog to see and she did good.  She would go out 100 to 150 yards but when left by the older dogs she would come back.  As soon as she heard a bark she shot off to both bays. Have you hunted yours yet?

We thought about barring them but this landowner would kick us off his place for that.
