I use Precor 2000 Plus. Its about 20 bucks a can on Amazon. One can covers 2000 sq ft. Been using it for a year or two since Tbob sold me some. Works great. Its been keeping them out of the house for about 6-8 months at a time.

Cresote out of a chimney or stove pipe for long lasting, but the liquid cresote dip will smother n kill the eggs n larva n adult fleas n keep them out for a while, dip the dog n it will keep them from comin in n use the stuff outa the pipe or chimney n cover the entrance area of the house n any sandy soil. We used to use it to keep insects outa garden, w/o using an insecticide, since the cresote is all natural

Bayer tree and shrub. Put 1CC down the back neck of the dog, then mix some in a pump up sprayer and spray the yard!

Bayer or any other brand of tree and shrub has became completely useless over here in the past year. Its like their immune to it now.

when the 1.47% Imidacloprid ( the active ingredient in Bayer and Dominion) stopped working at my place, I switched to Comfortis, and haven't regretted it yet.

I've been using the Comfortis for several years now.
