I know that there have already been topics made about them but before I go pick a pup up I am supposed to Get I want to know just how good original mt cur bred outta top line tree dogs can be as hog dogs?? How much range and such?? Please if u have any info let me know cause I am supposed to get him Monday!!!

its like all breeds,some are good some not so good i hunt with two men thats all they hunt the dogs they hunt are very nice dogs, no dog aggression at all no real bad traits. they have a high gear to them thats hard to beat very busy they do not hang around you they go hunting. two of the dogs wind out of the truck seem to have some very good noses. good luck with the pup

some are medium to cold nose and the good ones are hard to beat... quite a few are early starters...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...
