Both are nearly the same. It hurts alittle............

If you are asking which is better- Sport Dog for the money. Tri Tronics is hands down the best out there but you arnt going to be using the collar day in and day out are you? Sportdog(I have 4 of them) has done really well for me. I run one on my lab at all times while we bird hunt.

I use different color name tag collars on all my dogs.  I then match the shock collar to the same color.  It makes it easy to rememeber.  It also comes in handy if someone catches your dogs.  What color are the collars?  Oh, blue, ok.  Now I know they have Beulah.  Life is great when you are organized.

I have the tri tronics classic, and it works. Had a young dog this morning jump a deer, and she got a little elctro therapy and didn't have a problem the rest of the morning with her

Myself and others I know  have always used tri-tronics and have had good luck with them.

My aunt who has an aussie that she runs agility with got a sd collar and has had to send it back twice.  That is my only experiance with them.

My G3 turned on high will make your leg jump involuntairily. LOL  Didnt do it but twice. LOL  Once to see what it would do and the second time was one of those "yall look at this" deals. Grin

I use tri-tronics exclusively, mostly reputation and resale value. I like Marshal for the same reason.

That said, you should do just fine with another brand.
