Kinda reminds me of how EVERYtime I see mud I GOTTA drive through it lol
I know I can feel so relaxed whenever I just (or used to before my darn truck broke down) go for a drive out here in the boonies. Lots of nature and woods. Just how I like it. I can relate a bit to that song.

Country aint Country no more... You aint never lied brother!!! I know it may sound dumb but jason aldean, toby kieth, trace atkins...etc etc etc are not true country and it blows my mind that the junk they produce has a following......folks im only 26yrs old and i know what REAL country is and the junk on the radio aint it!!! Anyone who wants to hear some good country music should pick up the new Jason Boland cd, titled dark and dirty mile, Mr. Boland is as real as country music gets now days.

I agree I love the old "TRUE" country but you can put a lot I music through my ears and I wont critsize. Anything EXCEPT Opera . I wasn't trying to say this was true country but if you look this song up or any other artist on 99.5, 96.3 it'll fall into the category of country. But just like every other genre of music country has been evolving and will continue to no matter what or it'll die. Just like the blues has. Only station I know of that plays true country was broadcasted by the possum himself.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I think Jason Aldean deserves a swift kick to the sack for that Joe diffy crap. That's the most ridiculous excuse for a song I've ever heard.

You can stick your boots in the oven and call them biscuits but that doesn't make it so. Try 95.3 the range they play actual country for the most part. Not that mainstream garbage.

Music needs a fiddle and a banjo like food needs salt and pepper. Without it the music is just bland.

I remember Jason Boland saiying it best at one of his shows here in Tulsa about "new country" he said he don't see how they can call it country if it doesn't have a steel guitar or fiddle in the song. I tend to agree.
Now with that said, I listen to it all. Look in my iPod and you'll find anything from bob wills to the Lacs and colt ford, and everything in between. It's all just a natural progression of things. Bob Wills probably rolled in his grave hearing stuff like Cash and Waylon, while cash probably cringes hearing the Lacs. Musics gonna change, that's just the way it is.
Some of the new stuff is a little too "pop" for me, but some of the new stuff is pretty good as well. I mean, who can't help but sing along when the hear, " chew tobacco, chew tobacco, chew tobacco, spit"
