I haven't ever posted photos of hogs we catch or stories, but i think there is no better time than now. My 1 1/2 yr old gyp has finally been proving herself for a while so i figured she was finally worthy enough to breed to my strike dog. i will keep a couple of pups and will be wanting to sell the rest of them when they come. a few hogs my strike dog found for me last fall. Boar 225# decent teeth. Caught with only 3 dogs. Worked over dogs pretty good.  Boar 225# decent teeth. Had only 3 legs-missing front leg. Caught with same 3 dogs. Put up a good fight.  Big sow. never got to weigh her, but was heavy to lift. My wife's dog who hunts too.  |

That's some godd uns. Me and a buddy of mine caught two last year in the same corm field that was three legged. One was front leg and other was a back leg.

caught 1 a month ago w/ 3 legs. this time it was missing the left front leg. both 3 legged hogs were caught in the same spot bout 7-8 months apart.

Those are some nice hogs. I bet only having three legs dont slow them down a whole lot.

I wonder if that is one of those hogs that was "killed" out of a hellicopter  I have been outrun twice by a three legged hog about 120lbs, pretty demoralizing :'( Matt |

3-legged boar didn't really run to far, but stood his ground and put up a good fight. he got some good shots in on the 3 dogs i was huntin with.
