Took Machito, Bella, and Sally out a few weeks ago. Early Sunday mornin  at 6 me and my 2 boys and their cousin took off walking. I kept Sally on the lead as my CD and let Bella and Machito roll out. After a good 45 min walk thru the woods, and the kidos gettin tired, Bella opened up at 200 yards. Machito got there and they ran out to 300 and bayed up. I had to take 10 min to get the boys on the tree line so they could head back home (a good 400 yd walk for em). The dogs stay bayed for 30 minutes or more. Me and Sally got 100 yds from the bay. I let her go, and that about sums it up....this was my 1st solo hunt with my own pack. It was a pretty good feeling to land this 200 pounder considering the past 5 or 6 hunts were on runners and my dogs are still young. I gutted em and drug em out of the woods to get help on pics

It went pretty smooth, if it was a mean boar I'm not too sure what the outcome would have been.  Considering it was a fat short legged sow----mission complete---

The past bays all broke into a short race, I'm glad my dogs don't get out long range, usually a mile out then they start back tracking.

The kids were excited, it's lookin like my 1 out of my 3 will definitely take part of my way of havin fun doggin hogs.

The pack is all I got and its fun watching em grow. I hope to double the size by this time next year (4 curs and 2 CD's as a setup works for me.)
